SUNDAY'S defeat at the hand of London Wasps marked the end of a tough season for Bath, one which proved the devotion of its army of supporters.
For the final game of the season lifelong supporter Sue Munday thought it appropriate that team captain Dan Lyle should receive our Man of the Match award.
Sue said after the game, which ended 24-22, that Dan put in a real "captain's performance".
She said: "I think he has played well all season and really gave it his all for this game in particular. He was in the thick of the action and led the team to fight very hard for what turned out to be a tough game for both sides."
Sue, who once manned the bar at Bath Rugby, said: "Dan was pleased to receive the award. Dan and the team know that the fans are behind them whatever happens and can always spot the incredible strengths which the team possesses."
