BARGAIN hunters at the famous Castle Combe Circuit car boot sale on Sunday will be supporting Sheldon, Chippenham's Beacon school.
Parents and teachers will be out in force hoping for good weather and a maximum attendance to help swell the school's funds.
They are hoping to match the success of the Friends of Luckington School, which managed to raise £1,200 from the circuit's car boot sale last month.
Jackie Lawton, chair of the school association, said the boot sale would be their biggest fundraising opportunity.
"The crowds of bargain-hunters are usually very generous," she said. "Teachers and pupils have to put in a priority shopping list of items that they want, and a committee decides on how the money can best be shared out."
The boot sale is open from 8am-2pm.
