WEDNESDAY June 5 is set to be an important day for Amesbury.
On that day, the long-awaited plans for the redevelopment of the town centre and the new Co-op store are due to be delivered to Salisbury district council.
The news was given to Amesbury town councillors at their May meeting last week by Cllr Dennis Brown, who is also portfolio holder for the environment and transport on the district council.
