JUNIOR RUGBY: BRISTOL'S former England hooker Neil McCarthy was on hand to make the presentations at Wootton Bassett Minis' end-of-season presentations at their Stoneover Lane ground.
The overall player of the year was shared this time around, between Josh Lambdon and Jonathon May.
It proved another successful season for Bassett minis, with the under 10s winning both the Chippenham and Warminster festivals, the under 12s winning at Warminster and Newbury and the under eights finishing joint third in all three festivals.
The players of the season were: under eights: Christopher Roshier; under nines: Gavin Ougan; under 10s: Gareth Evans; under 12s: Luke Smith.
