Last weekend Swin-don's sides played five games and won them all, which should ensure that confidence is high coming into what promises to be a more difficult set of fixtures this week.
Highlights last week included Will Nichols' bowling and John Baden's batting for the first team, Stuart Cock's seven wickets for the seconds, Mike Hayward's five wickets for the thirds and an excellent all-round performance in the field by a young fourth eleven.
Tomorrow the County Ground stages the Swindon first XI game against Frocester, which might well prove be the home side's toughest league match this season.
The visitors include ex-Gloucestershire batsman Nick Trainor, who parted company with the county at the end of the 1999 season and has spent much of his time since then playing and coaching in South Africa.
They have also supplemented their bowling attack with the inclusion of an Australian opening bowler.
Swindon make two changes with Chris Rogers coming in to replace Paul Baden at the top of the order and Darren Beasant taking over as keeper from Matthew Baker, who keeps his place as a batsman.
Tariq Razzaq is unavailable due to injury.
Blaine Norridge leads the seconds at Frocester. Last week's game was in some ways a disappointingly easy win, and the side will be hoping for more of a contest this week, albeit with Swindon still coming out on top.
Paul Baden will presumably open the batting with either Andy Reed or Andy Compton pushed down a place. The in-form Stuart Cock is unfortunately unable to travel away this week so fellow left arm seamer Paul McDonald is promoted to take his place.
Wanborough are the opposition for Phil Laggett's unbeaten thirds and the game will be played on the village's scenic ground just off Kite Hill.
The younger members of the side made valuable runs last week which augurs well for both their individual progress and for the future of the club.
Competing Saturday's games is the fourths eleven game at Commonweal School, where Swindon host the game against Wootton Bassett's fourths.
Despite early season availability problems the side have recorded two wins but they can expect to be stretched by their local rivals.
There is no Sunday first eleven game. The County Ground hosts a District Under-11 game in the morning starting at 10.30am, then the Sunday 2nd XI have a home fixture against South Wilts in the afternoon.
The New twins are both fit again now and captain Alan Biggins leads a very useful side which is particularly strong in bowling.
