Two teenagers will have their artwork used on mobile phone accessories.
First-year Wiltshire College students at were approached by Westbury-based telecommunications company Pulsair to create designs for mobile phone radiation shields.
Nick Hards, 16, of Warminster, won first prize.
Mr Hards said: "I didn't expect to win at all. I still can't believe it. I am going to buy shields with my design on for all my family and friends."
Runner-up was Gemma Bletso, 19, of Trowbridge.
The shields act as a phone cover and are claimed to stop radiation. They are designed to protect the mobile screen and keyboard and create a barrier between the electromagnetic speaker and the earpiece.
Nick won a Nokia 3330 phone while Gemma was given Argos vouchers worth £100.
The shields go on sale in July and will cost £9.99.
