GLOUCESTER have revealed that South Africa international Thinus Delport is in talks with the club over a possible move to Kingsholm.
Director of rugby Nigel Melville is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of next year's Heineken Cup campaign and the 12-times capped back looks to fit the bill.
"We have had discussions with Thinus Delport's agents and these are continuing," said Melville.
"He is a very good player who can either play at full-back or on the wing."
Insiders at the club say it is possible a deal with Natal Sharks star Delport could be concluded by June 1.
Gloucester are set to make just one change to the side that thrashed Leeds last week as they take on Newcastle in the Zurich Championship play-offs on Saturday.
Wing Daren O'Leary is expected to come in for Diego Albanese as the Falcons arrive at Kingsholm for the first time since the racism row last December
