Gordon is performing at the All Saints Church Hall in Southbrook Street on Sunday at 7.30pm.
Gordon was voted second only to the legendary Eric Clapton in Guitar Magazine's 10th anniversary poll.
The guitarist is no stranger to Swindon as he played at the Swindon Arts Centre two years ago.
The singer songwriter began his career in the mid 1960s recording six albums and notching up hits such as Heartsong and Swing Your Daddy.
Heartsong was nominated for the prestigious Ivor Novello award and was used as the theme tune of the BBC's Holiday Programme.
Guitarist Raymond Burleigh will also be performing on Sunday. Tickets are £8 and £5 concessions from 01793 700442.
