I was alarmed to read in the report of the 'Green Machine' street cleaner going up in smoke.

The reason for my concern is that I witnessed exactly the same thing happen on Saturday.

This time it was in Swindon, where I was out shopping with my wife.

The same type of machine caught fire, in the early afternoon.

Hopefully this will prompt both establishments into investigating the cause and possibly identifying a problem before an injury occurs.
