RUGBY UNION: Chippenham lock forward Martin Walsh has not ruled out a playing return as he begins his recovery from the horrific injury he sustained in the club's play off defeat against Berry Hill last month.
Walsh spent 12 days in Bath's Royal United Hospital after shattering his right leg when making a try-saving tackle.
The 35-year-old has broken both the fibula and tibia bones in his leg and has as many as 10 separate fractures between the knee and the ankle.
He said: "I'm just taking it one day at a time at the moment, but playing again isn't something I'm going to rule out. It is just pretty frustrating. I can't do much and have to sit about with my foot up. "
