BATSMAN Carl Thoday was the toast of his club after smashing his way to a record.
Thoday, playing for Rodbourne Green in a friendly at Blunsdon, hammered a club record 170 not out, including 26 fours and two sixes.
Rodbourne, who batted first, eventually totalled 293-9 from their 40 overs.
The young Blunsdon side were always behind the required run rate, but some powerful hitting from Collins, 95 not out, and Hall, 49 not out, at the end of the innings, took them to within 20 runs of an unlikely victory.
