THE latest addition to Swindon's roster of centenarians celebrated her big day among her loving family and friends.
Hilda Godfrey is originally from Liverpool and lived there with her husband until being widowed many years ago. She spent much of her career as a secretary, although she worked for the Forestry Commission during World War Two.
Lately residing in Swindon, she moved into the Quarry Mount residential home five years ago. It was there that she celebrated her landmark birthday.
