CHILDREN will benefit from a £1,200 donation from a Swindon electronics company.
Tyco Electronics, formerly Raychem, presented the cheque to the Swindon Downs Syndrome Association after a successful charity auction.
Chris Geddes, one of the co-ordinators of the event said: "The auction was a really good evening, and we sold all kinds of things paintings, meals, and even a guitar.
"The charity group at Tyco is relatively new, so we were pleased at how well the evening went.
"Our next fundraiser will be at Christmas, and we are currently looking for a local charity to support."
