STAFF at Bath JobCentre paid homage to the animated classic The Wrong Trousers on Friday by donning the most peculiar pairs of trousers they could lay their hands on.
Employees paid £1 to wear the wrong trousers to work at the JobCentre's offices on James Street West, in aid of The Royal Hospital for Children in Bristol.
Those who were not so willing to face the public wearing a pair of their wife's culottes were made to cough up £2 while a prize was awarded to the loudest or strangest pair.
JobCentre manager Neil Vincent said: "The JobCentre network within the South West region has actively supported the cause for some time, and raised in excess of £4,500 in the last three years alone.
"Bath JobCentre is pleased to continue this tradition and hopes to raise more than £50 this year."
