OLD TOWN-BASED Barthropp Career Consultants was chosen by EMI Compact Disc (UK) to provide a full range of outplacement support to employees who lost their jobs when the Greenbridge compact disc manufacturing plant closed recently.
Staff benefited from workshops, a resource centre, CV design and production as well as one-to-one outplacement consultancy.
Barthropp started working with EMI employees in April, before the plant closure, and continue to support managerial staff.
Anne Watkis, human resource manager at the EMI plant, said: "Not only has the service been a positive experience for our employees but the added value really impressed us all."
