A SWINDON project dedicated to helping young people overcome their problems is celebrating its 18th birthday.
The Swindon 12-18 Project, pictured left, is based in Old Town, organises courses which feature therapeutic group work to help deal with issues such as improving self-esteem and anger management.
The courses use drama, cooking, art and first aid among other subjects and participants are usually referred from social services. Birthday celebrations will come to a head on August 31, when the project puts on a Summer Extravaganza at The Bowl.
Project worker, Julie Collar, said: "It will be a celebration of everything we do."
