RECRUITMENT consultant Michelle Sivell is appealing for information about her 15-year-old cat Oscar, who went missing from her Chippenham home more than a week ago.
Oscar vanished from Pew Hill Park on June 29 while Miss Sivell, 33, was on holiday. He was being cared for by her partner's mother at the time.
Miss Sivell, who works at AS Personnel in Chippenham Market Place, has called vets, the RSPCA and even North Wiltshire District Council in a bid to find out if any of its workmen has seen Oscar.
"It is devastating and like trying to find a needle in a haystack," she said.
She has owned Oscar for 12 years, since obtaining him from an RSPCA centre in Bath.
She said Oscar is friendly and rarely ventures far from home. He is black and fluffy and about twice the size of a normal cat.
Anyone with any information can call Miss Sivell on (01249) 660429.
