THE summer fair at King's Lodge School, Chippenham on Saturday July 13 will be a royal occasion with a King and Queen as guests.
Queen Phillipa Armstrong and King Chris Hopwood, year six pupils in their last week at the school, have been picked to be monarchs for a day.
The school adopted the royal theme to mark the Queen's golden jubilee year.
The royal pupils will officially open the fair and carry out other functions, including judging the fancy dress show, which also has a royal theme.
Attractions at the event, which runs from 12pm to 2pm, include singing and dancing performances by pupils at the school, a tae kwon do demonstration, Punch and Judy, raffle, lucky dip, tombola, face painting, beat the goalie competition, bouncy castle, white elephant stall and splat the rat.
All the proceeds from the fair will go towards King's Lodge School PTA funds.
