THE Twine triplets Lauren, George and Harry have been discharged from Princess Margaret Hospital in Swindon.
The trio from Wootton Bassett left the Special Care Baby Unit on Monday evening, and are settling in at home with their parents Alison and Neil, and big brother, Jack, five.
"They're doing really well, are putting on weight and feeding every four hours," their father said on Tuesday. "We both had about five hours' sleep last night, which was pretty good. All the babies slept from about 3am until seven.
"They've all had a bath this evening, and we're trying to get into some sort of routine, feeding and winding two before dealing with the third.
"They are in their own cots in their own room, and whoever wakes first gets fed first."
The three were born at Swindon's Princess Margaret Hospital on June 25, although they were not due until July 20.
Harry weighed in at 5lbs 6oz, George, at 4lbs 7oz, and Lauren, 4lbs 15oz.
The triplets' brother, Jack, is a great fan and sung them a special lullaby soon after they were born.
Mrs Twine said: "He is still being really helpful."
The trio are believed to be the first triplets in their home town of Wootton Bassett for more than 50 years. Their arrival has delighted many people in the town. A picture of the babies is already on the wall of Wootton Bassett Cricket Club pavilion, where Mr Twine plays cricket. President Albert Davey said last week: "The whole club shares in this happy event."
