BUDDING young musicians sang their hearts out for the annual Swindon Infant Music Festival yesterday evening.
Around 700 five to seven-year-olds from 25 local schools pooled their voices to form a huge choir in the Oasis Leisure Centre.
Over the past few months, youngsters have been practising songs based around the theme of time, including Grandfather's Clock and Rock around the Clock.
Besides boasting an impressive choir, the event, organised by Swindon Music Centre, also featured a group of flautists.
Sandra Burchell, activity co-ordinator at Swindon Music Centre, said: "It is a great way to celebrate music. The children really enjoy the experience of meeting and making music with other schools."
