A HONDA worker who committed a string of burglaries to fund his drug addiction has been warned he could face prison.
Richard Price, 30, took part in a night time raid on the Lidl supermarket in Gorse Hill where thousands of pounds worth of goods were stolen.
The thief, who also broke into an office making off with charity boxes, was caught after his blood was found at the scenes of the crimes.
Magistrates heard that, as well as the break-ins, Price used his mother's social security book to take her benefit money.
The court was told that Price was released from a 10-month prison sentence on February 24 and had served another sentence shortly after the latest offences from which he was freed on May 21.
Price, of Beech Avenue, pleaded guilty to three burglaries and one deception and asked for two further burglaries and one deception to be taken into consideration.
Magistrates adjourned the case for reports to be prepared, warning that custody was an option, and released Price on bail.
