WINSLEY fell to a first defeat in four games after starting well at Hanham.
Opening bowlers Spencer and Orchard both took a wicket early on as Winsley took the advantage. Hanham then had a good spell until sharp fielding from Harris produced a run out and Thomas removed another in the same over. Spencer and Thomas both took three wickets, and More and Orchard bowled superbly as Winsley bowled out their hosts for 111. In reply only Spencer (16) and More (47) reached double figures.
Winsley had made a reasonable start but Poole's spell of 5-30 and accurate bowling from Davies meant Winsley were dismissed for 90, losing by 21 runs.
