A SKITTLES evening held by Warminster Chamber of Commerce saw a nail-biting finish, when despite fierce competition from Berkeley Hall, the Pearson May team retained the title for their fifth victory in a row.
A ladies top score was achieved by Sharon Havery, with the best male points going to Rod Atwell, both from Pearson May. The wooden spoon went to Rod Atwell's daughter Gemma.
Held at Warminster Cricket Club, whose staff provided an excellent buffet, the evening raised about £250 for the Warminster Christmas Lights Fund, thanks to support from local firms with raffle prizes.
