THE man who has spent a decade fighting a supermarket chain over a strip of land continued his battle this week.
Albert Tate, 57, resumed his fight with supermarket giants, Safeway when he attended its AGM on Tuesday.
Dubbed the human mole after he burrowed his way under the foundations of the Warminster store, Mr Tate arrived at the meeting armed with placards and posters prepared to do battle.
Mr Tate said: "Whenever they see me coming they say 'Oh no not you again'."
The trouble began when contractors knocked down the wall at the bottom of Mr Tate's Weymouth Street home in 1989 as work began on the new Safeway store.
