A MOTHER of six has admitted swindling more than £29,000 in benefits.
Susan Collyer, 36, from Westleigh , Warminster, admitted six charges of defrauding the benefits system and asked for 234 offences to be taken into account.
Trowbridge magistrates heard Mrs Collyer claimed the money between April 1998 and September 2000 while she lived with her husband who worked full-time.
She claimed £9,000 in housing and council tax benefits, £8,500 in income support and £10,500 invalid care allowance.
Magistrates remanded her on unconditional bail to appear at Swindon Crown Court for sentence at a date to be arranged.
