Bill Calthrop talks to Tracey Williams, proprietor of HotCats recruitment agency about her Saab 9-3 Convertible.

How long have you owned it? About 18 months.

Why did you choose this car?

I thought it was sexy, very comfortable and certainly not long after getting it we went to Switzerland in it and it was very pleasant and not at all tiring. With the roof down it was blissful.

Does it have a name? No name, after all, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. It is beautiful and needs no name. We do have an old Peugeot estate which we rather irreverently refer to as The Hearse and we used to have a Vauxhall Frontera which the family referred to as The Bus. We also have a Ford Escort for the business with all the HotCats signage on it. This prompted the small son of one of the staff to name it The Catmobile, and the name stuck.

What do you like best about the Saab? I love it being an automatic with a wonderful reserve of power, especially when using it in Sports mode. And, of course, the fact that it is a convertible.

What does the car tell us about you? No idea really, I suppose someone who is an individual.

What do you like listening to on the sound system? I always tune into GWR. It keeps me up to date with everything that is happening in my area.

When cleaning out the car what sort of things do you tend to find? Usually children's sweet wrappers and stuff associated with riding gear.

Any accidents in the car? No, touch wood.

Parking tickets? Oh yes, I'm on all too familiar terms such things and not just in Swindon.

On the very first day I got my car, I took the family down to Poole for the day and got a ticket. I was not amused!

What do other drivers do that annoys you the most? People who deliberately use the wrong lane to jump a queue and then try and force their way back in having got ahead of you.

How often do you wash the car? Never. That's what I have partner for!

May others smoke in your car? Oh yes. I smoke but don't use the ashtray.

What is your dream car? I love the Jaguar XK8 but it would have to be an Aston Martin that I would go for if I won the lottery.

What famous person would you like to give a lift to? The Queen. I really admire her and the dedication she shows to the nation. She is a remarkable person and it would be nice to be able to tell her so without all the hangers on interfering . . . and you never know, she might even invite me home for tea at Buck House!
