WOULD-be writers have the chance to enter a short story competition being run as part of this year's Trowbridge In Bloom contest.
The story must be a maximum of 1,000 words long and should be typed on single sided paper.
The winner will receive a first prize of £50, and the best entry will be read out on BBC Wiltshire Sound.
The story should be linked to the Golden Jubilee and incorporate a floral theme.
All entries should be sent to Trowbridge Town Council, 10/12 Fore Street, Trowbridge by August 2.
