THE Wroughton and Chiseldon District Guide headquarters celebrates its 25th anniversary this weekend coinciding with the Wroughton Carnival.
Trefoil House on Wroughton's Weirfield is celebrating a quarter century of use by the village's Guide, Brownie and Rainbow community.
During the carnival weekend Guides, Brownies and Rainbows will be fundraising to replace the hall's boiler.
In the future, it is hoped there will be enough money to fit facilities for the disabled.
To raise money the girls will be running a helium balloon race. Entrants will buy their balloons, which will be released en masse during the afternoon. The owner of the balloon which flies the furthest can win £40.
Refreshments will be also be sold by the girls and various stalls will be manned by the Guides.
