SWINDON and Chippenham have both been handed a bye in the opening round of the Powergen Intermediate Cup.
But while the luck of the draw has favoured the Greenbridge Road and Allington Field sides, Swindon College Old Boys have been given a tough-looking encounter at Bath-based Oldfield Old Boys on September 21.
Wootton Bassett will host Oxford Harlequins.
Elsewhere in the competition, Cirencester will travel to Gloucester to face Chosen Hill Former Pupils.
And Dorset & Wilts One side Corsham will fancy their chances at Gloucester Division One Chipping Sodbury.
Calne entertain fellow Southern Counties South outfit Frome while Devizes also have a bye.
In the Powergen Junior Cup, Supermarine, Cricklade and Minety have all been drawn away, to Aldermaston, Frampton Cotterell and Hungerford respectively.
Fairford will also have to travel, to take on Old Colstonians.
