MORE than £1,000 has been raised for the Great Western Hospital's Evolution Appeal during celebrations of the Queen's Golden Jubilee at a pub in Lyneham.

The fun began with the much anticipated England versus Sweden World Cup match.

Afterwards, customers and their children were able to enjoy the side-stalls, games, bouncy castle and pony rides that had been set up for their entertain-ment.

Music was provided by the Elvis Experience featuring Les Forsyth, who soon had the crowd dancing.

When the proceeds were counted, it was found that just over £1,180 had been raised for the hospital's Special Care Baby Unit's Evolution Appeal.
