SO the council staff are going on strike for a £1,750 pay rise, are they?

Well, I would like to know how they can justify such a rise when the OAPs they serve receive far less than they do, and have just the same living costs.

I've been to the council offices many times but have never seen the occupants rushing about in fact, just the opposite.

If they get such a rise, then the pensioners should get a substantial rise for the same reason.
