SWINDON looks like being sun-kissed for a good few weeks with temperatures soaring into the 80s.
Over the weekend hundreds of people headed for the borough's parks and swimming pools.
Met office spokesman Colin Donnelly said: "We can forget about the awful start to the summer because it's going to be very nice in Wiltshire all this week.
"There's no threat of early morning mist or fog and during the day there will be light winds to take the edge off the heat. For many people summer has finally arrived, but it's taken a while. It's going to be a lovely week and a welcome break from the cold and showers."
