HONDA'S South Marston assembly plant is on the shortlist for a British Construction Industry Award.
More than 160 firms were in the running for awards or commendations in five categories.
In the £3 million to £50 million Building Award category, Honda has been shortlisted with nine others.
The BCI Awards also encompass the Prime Minister's Better Public Building Award sponsored by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment and the Office of Government Commerce.
The short list for the Prime Minister's Award is also selected from the schemes in each category.
Further details are given on the Prime Minister's Better Public Building Award website at www.betterpublicbuilding.gov.uk.
The Construction Best Practice Award, sponsored by the Construction Best Practice Programme, will also be judged from all visited schemes.
The results for all categories will be announ-ced at a Gala Awards Dinner to be held at the London Hilton on October 23.
This will be attended by more than 950 leading members of the industry and its clients.
