STAFF at a Swindon veterinary hospital have been playing it cool in the name of charity, by donning their sunglasses for a day.
While the sun blazed outside, employees at the Drove Road Veterinary Hospital in Croft Road wore their specs indoors, as part of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association's Shades for a Day Campaign.
"The animals did their bit for the charity as well," said Jane Carter, receptionist at the practice.
"We even had a cow in sunglasses at one point."
The hospital hopes to have raised more than £200 from the donations, and continue to fundraise for the week.
"We are selling special badges in honour of the occasion, which have proved very popular with our customers," said Jane.
"We will continue to sell them at the vets for the rest of the week, and hope to raise as much as possible."
