DEVIZES slipped to eighth in the Gloucester and Wiltshire League Division One as they were swept aside by promotion-chasing Swindon.
The visitors, who won the toss and elected to bat first, were dismissed for a disappointing 144, with Tom Edwards top scoring on 30.
Despite two wickets from Neil Doran, the hosts raced to their target with eight wickets to spare and completed a league double.
Devizes were missing skipper Andy Hodder after he bruised his ankle while moving a sightscreen last week. Paul Vooght captained the side in Hodder's absence and was unhappy with his team's performance.
He said: "It was disappointing. We haven't really played well all season and under-performed again on Saturday.
"Swindon are an okay side and probably deserve to be third or fourth, but they aren't the best team in the league by any means.
"It was a case of poor batting again. The problem is that we have such a young side with so many players below the age of 25. They are either Wiltshire U19 or development squad players, but need to have the experience to back up their talent."
