TRIPLETS Harry, George and Lauren are home from hospital and that means the hard work has just begun for their parents Alison and Neil Twine.

They are having to get used to a new hectic routine after the babies were given the all clear by medics at Princess Margaret Hospital.

The trio were the last to be born at PMH before the big move to the Great Western Hospital in November and they have also made history in Wootton Bassett by being the first triplets to be born there for more than 40 years.

Now, at three weeks old, they have all put on one pound from their birth weight and are feeding every four hours.

Neil, 36, who works as a manager for WF Electricals, said: "We're trying to get into as regular a pattern as we can with feeding them, but that means getting up at 1am and 5am."

The babies sleep in their Moses baskets in their own bedroom, and Neil and Alison take turns to feed them. Neil said: "It's hard work, but good fun. Feeding time is not as hectic as we expected in general, one wakes up first, and we try to get that one fed before the others wake up we're devising all kinds of ways to cope!"

The triplets' older brother Jack, five, is also helping out. He makes sure he gives each of the babies a kiss before he goes to bed, and when he goes to school.

The triplets have already developed begun to develop their own characteristics:

"George is very good, he is definitely the quietest of the three he's laid-back and reserved. Harry is impatient. He knows what he wants and is determined to get it. Lauren is a little madam already."

Neil added: "We would like to say a special thank you to our nextdoor neighbour Marylin Hawson. She's been so much help to us, giving us a hand with the babies, cooking us meals, and taking care of Jack when things get hectic."
