TWO families in the Devizes area have put out a plea for the return of their missing cats.
The Walkers, from the Marina Meadows area of Devizes, have not seen their cat Jess, who is 15,since July 9. They have have had the black-and-white tom since he was six weeks old and are distraught about his disappearance.
Gail Walker said: "We were away on holiday and one of our neighbours was looking after him, but he went out one night and didn't come back. It is not like him at all.
"He is a bit deaf but we adore him and it is unbearable when he is not here."
Jess has been with the Walkers, a service family, all over the country from Staffordshire, Yorkshire, Surrey and Wiltshire. The Walkers can be contacted (01380) 729799.
The Glass family of West End, Potterne, are missing their year-old black-cat Pushkie, who has a white stomach and paws, He went missing last Thursday. It is believed he may be in the Worton area. Anyone with information can call Susan Glass on (01380) 724803.
