Goatacre Cricket Club face their biggest match in a decade on Sunday.
Wiltshire's top village outfit are just three games from a dream date at Lord's and they can edge a step nearer with victory over Werrington this weekend.
Goatacre twice lifted the National Village Championship in 1988 and 1990, beating Sunday's opponents at exactly the same stage during the 1988 run.
Last season they reached the last 16 before losing to Cornwall outfit, Menheniot.
Goatacre Captain Pete Turner is hoping his troops can go one better this time by beating another Cornish side to book a place in the quarter finals.
"We're playing well and we're at home so we have to be confident," said Turner.
"If you're not confident in yourselves you've got no chance."
Turner, it seems, has every right to be self assured, as performances in the previous two rounds have been nothing short of dominant.
His side enjoyed a convincing 170-run win over Potterne in the Dorset & Wiltshire area final, before an equally easy victory over Avon & Somerset group winners Butleigh in the last 32.
Turner, though, is happy to tinker with a winning line up and two changes will be made to the XI that triumphed in the last round.
Steve Gee returns to the side after a fine unbeaten century during an outing against Lydney last week.
Jonathon Wilkins Jr is also reinstated at the expense of his father Jon. Wicketkeeper Steve Ferris misses out too.
Said Turner: "This is the first time we've been able to choose from a full-strength side.
"Everyone is up for it, and we all seem to be running into form at the right time."
Werrington are certainly one of the stronger sides left in the draw, but Goatacre have already proved themselves to be as formidable as any of the final 16.
With a glut of high-scoring batsmen such as Gee and Rob Turner, coupled with home advantage, the Wiltshire side have nothing to fear and start as narrow favourites.
