ANGRY clubber Steven Vincent had to be restrained by police using CS gas after he threatened bouncers and police outside a Chippenham nightclub.
Magistrates heard that Vincent, 26, of Long Avenue, Corsham, was ejected from Bud's in Station Hill, Chippenham, for being aggressive.
Anna Humphries, prosecuting, said Vincent was seen by police outside the club in the early hours of July 6, threatening the club's bouncers.
She said: "He and two men had been chucked out of Bud's after being aggressive."
A police sergeant warned him about his behaviour and pulled Vincent away but he refused to leave and continued threatening the bouncers.
Ms Humphries said: "Police officers had to use the CS gas as it was the only way to control him."
Vincent pleaded guilty to a public order offence on July 6, when he appeared before magistrates in Chippenham on Monday.
He was fined £250 and ordered to pay £55 costs.
He told the court he had previously had trouble with the bouncers at the club.
