WINSLEY got back to winning ways with a convincing victory at home to Claverham.
Winning the toss, Claverham chose to bat on a decent looking pitch but after both their openers made good starts the loss of Bird triggered an extraordinary collapse.
Wickets fell regularly as Thomas took two wickets and all the bowlers got in on the act to dismiss the visitors for 82.
In reply both Spencer and O'Leary made starts before their dismissals but More (30 not out) and Fudge guided Winsley home to a convincing victory by eight wickets.
The second team lost away in the return fixture.
Bowling first, Winsley saw Evert make 95 in quick time but restricted the home side to 252-9 after effective bowling from Fudge and Potter.
In reply Fear made 70 but it wasn't enough as they went down by 53 runs.
