FRAMED certificates were presented to representatives from three of west Wiltshire's best-kept villages on Wednesday.
Bratton, Sutton Veny and Chitterne were the overall winners in the national best-kept village competition, organised by the Council for the Protection of Rural England.
Bratton was judged best large village while Sutton Veny scooped the award for medium village and Chitterne topped the small village category. Representatives from each village were awarded with a framed certificate by West Wiltshire District Council to mark their achievements.
Council chairman Alison Irving presented certificates before a full council meeting.
