FOUR people have been treated in hospital after an accident near Trowbridge on Wednesday night.
The accident happened near the accident blackspot on the Wingfield crossroads at 8pm.
A grey Metro, driven by a young woman from Trowbridge, collided with a white Suzuki van.
The young woman suffered neck injuries and was treated at Trowbridge hospital.
The driver of the van also suffered whiplash injuries and received hospital treatment.
Two boys, aged ten and 14, were passengers in the van and were also treated in hospital, but did not suffer serious injury.
Earlier in the evening there was another accident in the same area, at Arnold's Hill, coming into Trowbridge.
A blue MG collided with a red pick-up after swerving to avoid a dust cart parked in the street.
Four people were taken to hospital, but none were seriously injured.
