Cirencester Town officially christen their new stadium tomorrow and Premiership Tottenham are the high profile first guests.
The £2 million Corinium Stadium has been two years in the offing, but now the wait is over and more than 1,000 fans are expected to savour the new surroundings first hand when Spurs visit.
The location is not the only close-season change for Ciren.
The club have a different manager in the shape of former Swindon Town midfielder Brian Hughes.
The newly installed Centurians boss takes over from Ray Baverstock, who departed after a dispute with chairman Steve Abbley.
There has been a big shake-up in the playing personnel too, after several key men decided to move on following Baverstock's departure.
That means Hughes is likely to blood several Academy youngsters and trialists as he begins to rebuild before Ciren's Dr Martens campaign kicks off at home to Rocester on August 17.
Hughes said: "We've got a lot of targets, and some of them will be playing on Saturday, along with some of the young lads.
"To be honest we're nowhere near our finished squad and there is still a lot of work to be done, but we'll give them (Tottenham) our best shot."
One fresh face likely to figure is influential former Supermarine midfielder Nathan Perkins, who is poised to join Hughes' revolution from Devizes Town.
Former Town skipper Colin Calderwood will boss the visiting Spurs side, which is expected to contain mainly first-year pros.
The Ciren contingent may see a few stars though, with long-term absentees Jamie Redknapp, Chris Perry and Steven Carr looking to regain fitness for the new Premiership campaign.
Influential Ciren wing-back Dave Gee will face Spurs tomorrow after committing his future to the club.
Gee had been courted by Chippenham, Weston and Mangotsfield but has decided to remain at the Corinium Stadium.
