THRILL-seekers might like to consider throwing themselves off a building to raise money for the Royal National Institute for the Blind.
The charity is organising a sponsored abseil from the Swindon WH Smith building, in Greenbridge, in October.
The event is open to all ages and abilities, from students to pensioners, and no experience is necessary as fully-trained instructors are on hand to guide entrants through every step.
The WH Smith building stands at just over 80 feet (24 metres).
The charity is hoping that the event will bring in over £20,000 to pay for a fun day later in the year, which will see sporting events such as archery, cricket and martial arts.
To take part, call for an entry form on 01454 882985. For other information e-mail on: clangmaid@rnib.org.uk
