I AM writing to thank everyone who participated in the wonderful Wroughton Carnival.
So much hard work must have gone into it.
I have only lived in the village since 1996 but it has been a wonderful time. I am disabled so I am restricted most of the time, but my daughter wheeled me in my wheelchair so I had a front seat view.
We waited for the parade to come all the way past us again on their way to the Weir Field where I couldn't go as it is difficult to push me. But the music came across the housetops and the wonderful firework display was visible from my front door.
Once more, thank you everyone in Wroughton for being so thoughtful and hardworking for the carnival, especially all the little ones who walked so far.
