RELATIVES who have loved ones buried at the Downs View Cemetery in Wootton Bassett are being offered an annual grave maintenance scheme by the town council.
They will have a choice of six programmes, which can meet specific requirements on the maintenance of a grave in the cemetery.
This can include twice yearly planting of seasonal plants for summer and winter flowering, regular weeding, a forking over the grave area, washing down of memorial twice yearly, reporting any damage and the placing flowers on anniversaries or a Holy Wreath before Christmas.
The programmes will be offered as a result of a decision made at the town council's Amenities committee and cost from £5 to £145 per year.
For more information and an application form contact CASCADE at 117 High Street, Wootton Bassett or call Swindon 850222.
