A CABBIE who saved a man's life outside Swindon train station has been rewarded with two 1st class tickets to London.
Mark Harris, 38, of Liden, resuscitated TV producer Adam Stewart, 31, after he collapsed and fell unconscious due to a nut allergy in June.
First Great Western has now rewarded Mr Harris for his bravery.
He said: "I was really pleased when they offered me the tickets. It's nice to be recognised.
"I'm planning to take my family to London in August and enjoy a day out there.
"It would be good if more people took a first aid course. You never know when it is going to come in handy."
Mr Stewart was travelling from London to meet his girlfriend, Katie Prior of Old Town, when he fell ill. He believes the reaction was caused by a nut allergy, possibly from a soft drink.
Lynn Edginton, Swindon station manager, said: "Mr Harris has helped a First Great Western customer who was extremely unwell and we are very grateful."
