The Environment Agency has withdrawn a prohibition notice against a Wiltshire company, following marked improvements in its conduct.
Immediate action was taken against the Westbury company Absolute Solvents Ltd in March, when a spot check revealed unauthorised waste solvents were being released into the air. Absolute Solvents has redesigned the process of waste disposal and carried out improvements. The Agency is now satisfied that the company's pollution has been reduced to a legal level.
