WILTSHIRE'S emergency services will be offering shoppers at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, Great Western, potentially lifesaving advice next month.
Teams from the police, fire and ambulance services will be on-site at the main entrance to the centre from 10am to 5pm over the weekend of August 3 and 4 giving shoppers advice on what to do in the event of an emergency.
McArthurGlen's marketing manager, Iona Carter, said: "Quick response in an emergency can help to save lives.
"We're hoping that people will pick up some advice from the emergency services even if it just reminds visitors to check the battery in their smoke alarm or security mark their property."
Wiltshire's Fire Brigade will be carrying out a demonstration and giving tips on what to do if fire breaks out in your home.
Visitors will also be able to find out from the local police how to safeguard their property and shoppers will have the chance to go inside an ambulance from Wiltshire Ambulance NHS Trust.
