SWINDON Police are hunting two men in connection with an assault after a man was punched unconscious in Bridge Street.
A group of people were walking along at 10.45pm last night when they were approached by two men, described by police as being of European appearance. One member of the group was punched to the ground. The offender fled from the scene in a black H-registration Toyota MR2 sports car. Witnesses are urged to contact Swindon Police on 01793 528111.
He is described as dark, 5ft 9ins tall, slim to medium build with dark hair and wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. The suspected offender's companion fled on foot and was 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build with fair hair.
